Dilip Kumar

"Hello, my name is Dilip Kumar and I come from a small town in Rajasthan. I finished my studies through the 12th grade, then got involved with my father, who works in wooden handicrafts. He inherited the enterprise from his parents. Because my father was alone, I had no choice but to help him.

"For me it was not too difficult to adjust or catch up with my father. My occasional assistance during holidays from school had interested me in learning about his art. I became fully involved with my father in 2000.

"Rajasthan is a colorful state with a long artistic tradition, and this is what we try to incorporate into our products. The region owes its rich artistic skill to the Mughal empire that dominated northern India for centuries. We have tried to capture the richness and finery of Mughal art in our designs.

"Our products have been exhibited throughout India. I am glad to be introduced to Novica, as I am sure our designs will be internationally recognized."
